From Your Eyes is an assistive technology that integrates human and artificial intelligence to provide rapid and accurate visual description services for users with visual impairments. With over three hundred and thirty million visually impaired individuals worldwide—one million in Turkey and ten million in the United States—this platform aims to address a significant accessibility need.

The system is composed of three primary components: visually impaired users, trainable artificial intelligence services, and human descriptors. Users can upload any photograph or select an image from their existing collection within the application. Immediately upon image upload, the AI generates a preliminary description accessible to the user. If the user finds this draft insufficient or requires further detail, they can specify areas for elaboration within a dedicated section and submit the request with a single click.

This request is dispatched as a notification to human descriptors. When a descriptor accepts the request, they select an image from the pool of pending tasks and refine the original description through written modifications, comparing the image with the initial draft. The enhanced description is then returned to the user, completing the process. The underlying AI continuously improves through machine learning, incorporating feedback from these human enhancements to enhance future descriptions.
